About this project:

Agalia Village Homes is a gated and guarded landed-strata community of 177 units terrace homes. Located in close proximity to Kampung Sungai Serai, it is a contemporary reinterpretation of a traditional village with 29% green landscaped gardens and homes designed in a modern vernacular style. The dual-frontage terrace homes opens out to rear linear gardens, while the premium units overlooks the central park and community hub. The site layout is interwoven by strategic building layout and orientation, continuous meandering walkways, bicycle pathways, common facilities such as a Community Centre, playgrounds, multi-purpose courts and pavilions, fostering a vibrant and strong sense of community living.

The 2nd Eaton International School campus is a new landmark in Alam Impian township, Shah Alam. Phase 1 of the school consist of a compact 4-storeys 70,000 sq feet building with classrooms and facilities, such as Library, Sports Hall, Performance Art Centre, art studios and laboratories. A glass-roofed Central Atrium forms the ‘Heart’ of the school, with a continuous ramp connecting the multiple levels. Natural daylight through the Central Atrium illuminates the interior spaces, while natural cross-ventilation keeps the school breezy and comfortable throughout the day. The well-designed internal layout with flexible in-between spaces creates a conducive environment for students’ continual learning through interactions and creative explorations. Externally, the façade’s bold white cubic forms are juxtaposed against the colourful aluminium screens. The architecture is a representation of Eaton’s corporate branding and vision of a dynamic, progressive and creative educational institution in this fast evolving world.

A 26.3-acre residential parcel, called Mallow Residences, continues the garden trend of its neighbouring developments. Each of the 196 units of cluster homes, despite being grouped in clusters of four, has its own distinct roof, giving it an individualised look. The units cascade down towards the central park to take advantage of the natural level differences within the site.

Set in the heart of Southville City Development is a distinctive 965 units serviced apartment that is accessible through the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban highway. The residence comprises of two towers flanking the central podium car park which is mounted with an array of facilities.

The expert and subtle use of tonality brings vibrancy and rhythm to the vertical facade of the tower blocks, while modulating horizontal strips accentuate an avant-garde outlook. The units are designed in a modern contemporary language, with spacious open-plan layouts, large expanse of glazing and sleek minimalist lines with hints of vibrant accent colours.

Through strategies such as building layout/orientation, security measures and continuous walkways, safety for children and the entire community at large is ensured. Playgrounds, relaxation cabanas, meandering walkways, jogging tracks and common facilities (multipurpose hall, management office, surau and toilets) allow for a vibrant mix of activities to foster a strong sense of community in this development.

About this project:

The new Eaton International School is located to the south of the Jade Hills development. The spaces that make up the school are arranged in an infinity loop, drawing attention to the concept of never-ceasing learning that is integral to Eaton’s vision. A central concourse on two levels acts as the spine of the infinity loop, where events will be held and where staff and students can meet and mingle. Branching off from the central concourse are the classrooms, offices, arranged into different loops that define a series of courtyards, each meant for students of a different age group. Keeping to the infinity loop layout, the façade has been designed as a seamless extension of that concept. Angular horizontals emphasize the idea of connectivity, and relate to the digitized world that we have currently transitioned into.

It consists of 102 units of townhouses, set within a gated and guarded environment with extensive landscaping to create a community focused garden living environment. Clubhouse cum management office are accessible to all, young and disabled.

Emerald Club is set within a series of lakes and parks to serve the recreational needs of residents in Emerald West township. The building is designed to resemble an emerald gemstone, with fragmentation of the form and façade. The building appear to project dramatically out of the ground and landscape as a prominent landmark within the township.
